Now a Caterer to the Stars

Success doesn't happen overnight...but events of the past often lead to bigger and better things. Such was the case for Southern Oven Foods when Stevie Wonder returned for a concert tour in the Bay Area.

The show's promoter, Live Nation, had hired Southern Oven in the past and when Stevie Wonder requested a local, minority caterer, it was an easy decision...and an exciting day for Patricia Griffith and the Southern Oven crew.

March, 2008

Patricia Griffith, followed her passion and started Southern Oven Foods, Inc., after being a stay-at-home mom with her two daughters. A non-stop marketer, Patricia's media contacts and appearances caught the eye of REDBOOK Magazine and featured her story in the March 2008 issue.

From a table at local farmers' markets, she has expanded to retail sales in California, Oregon and Washington, and soon adding on-line sales to meet the demand of a growing national fan base.
